Please join us for an information session by the NYCC Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine on Monday, November 24 at 2:00 pm in the Career and Transfer Center Library (3-108). All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend!
The 45 minute long presentation will help attendees better understand acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. It will include:
· information about NYCC’s acupuncture degree for those who may wish to continue their education in holistic and preventative wellness care
· a brief needling demonstration to see firsthand what acupuncture is like
· how to make informed referrals to acupuncturists when patients present with the appropriate conditions (for those in a health care program)
· information from a patient standpoint, to help decide if this is an avenue of wellness they wish to pursue for themselves
