On Saturday April 11, the Admissions Office hosted our annual college-wide Admitted Student Day for high school students, to a record breaking crowd of 808 people. Of the 370 students in attendance, 98 registered for fall courses and 250 received their MCC Student ID.
This event is designed to help admitted students solidify their selection of MCC as their college for fall 2015. Many, many people from our campus community stepped up to help us welcome and embrace our future students. The energy during the event was electric. Our guests truly felt inspired by our faculty, staff and students.
A special thank you to the folks who helped out in the Advisement Center, Career and Transfer Center, Student ID Office, students who provided campus, residence hall and PAC tours, workshop presenters, those who represented their department at the Academic Fair and Student Services Fair, ATC faculty and staff for offering facility tours, and to everyone who made our guests feel welcome.
