2023 MCC Award Winning National Model United Nations Program

2023 MCC Award Winning National Model United Nations Class & Program

April 10 to April 14, 2022 in New York City

THE CLASS

  • The class is a 3-honors credit class, held once a week on the Brighton Campus in the evening starting in the Spring.  Students can only apply to be a part of the program and that is done in the fall (now).
  • Students will learn how to become diplomats learning leadership skill, how to negotiate, debate issues, learn about the UN
  • Students will also learn how to work in a team environment
  • Students do not have to be a honors student or in a particular major. All majors are welcomed

THE LAB PORTION OF THE CLASS

  • The lab portion of Model UN is held in New York City (this year April 10th to April 14th, 2023).
  • Participants in our United Nations simulations propose solutions to global concerns while gaining    skills in debate, conflict resolution, and compromise.
  • Students will participate in the lab portion of the course in New York City for one week with over 5,000 students from all over the world (over 120 universities domestic and International).
  • All expenses are paid for

THE FIRST INFORMATIONAL SESSION WILL BE SEPTEMBER 14, 2022 AT 4PM IN THE PRISM CTR (BUILDING 1 ROOM 108).  This program is open to all students at Brighton and Downtown Campus.
