Callaway Golf Adds to Player Experience at Scholarship Open

The Monroe Community College Foundation will offer another exclusive golfing experience at the 24th annual Scholarship Open on Monday, July 14, at Monroe Golf Club. Tournament proceeds support student scholarships and faculty innovation grants at Monroe Community College. For the first time, Callaway® Golf has partnered with the foundation to provide a variety of tee-gift options.

The Scholarship Open annually attracts 132 players, including community and business leaders, and is one of the leading fundraisers for the MCC Foundation. Rick Brienzi, LeChase Construction Services, and Brian McMahon, MWI, Inc. are serving as tournament chairs. Both are directors of the MCC Foundation board.

Foursomes are available. The cost to play is $600 per person; $2,400 per foursome. For reservations and information, please contact the MCC Foundation at x1500 by Friday, June 27.

The MCC Foundation seeks and secures private funds to supplement MCC’s traditional revenue sources. Through its ongoing efforts, it provides scholarship assistance, faculty enrichment programs, funding for educational equipment and seed money for innovative programs.
