There is still time to participate in the MCC Foundation’s 20th Annual Salute to Excellence this Thursday evening at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. If you were contemplating attending the event, I encourage you to come out and support the excellent work the MCC Foundation does to promote student achievement and educational excellence at MCC.
At the event, we will recognize M&T Bank’s leadership and philanthropy in our community, and its outstanding commitment, through volunteerism and scholarships, to support the success of MCC students.
In the MCC Daily Tribune, you may have read recently about the four impressive alumni who will be inducted into the MCC Alumni Hall of Fame that evening. The alumni include Richard Kaplan ’67, Thomas Voelkl ’70, Christine Wagner ’71 and Robert Woody ’73. If you have attended the Salute in the past, you know how inspiring and rewarding it is to celebrate the success of our alumni.
The MCC Foundation offers a discounted ticket rate for MCC faculty staff and students ($75 for MCC faculty and staff; $100 for general public). For tickets and information, please call x1500. The event will begin with a reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner, awards and entertainment at 6:30 p.m.
