Help Matt Heal

Matt Kirkpatrick just finished the spring semester at MCC but he has a long road ahead of him during the summer months.  Matt was diagnosed suddenly with kidney disease two years ago.  He will have a kidney transplant on June 5, 2012 thanks to the selfless donation of his second cousin who was a perfect match.

Some of you may know Matt’s mother.  She is Anne Kirkpatrick, Faculty Secretary at the Damon City Campus.  Tokeya Graham wanted to help the Kirkpatrick family somehow.  The Kirkpatrick’s church is hosting a “Help Matt Heal” Brunch and Basket Auction to offset extraordinary expenses associated with Matt’s kidney transplant.  All proceeds will go towards Matt’s medical costs.

Details are as follows:
Date: June 3, 2012
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Location: St. Josaphat’s School Cafeteria, 940 Ridge Road East, Rochester, NY  14621

Price:  $8 (includes brunch of French toast, ham, fruit plus 3 complimentary basket auction tickets.)

Tickets can be purchased from Phyllis Schirano at Damon City Campus (Criminal Justice Department, 4171) or Debbie Alimentato at Brighton (Curriculum and Program Development, 1-309.)  Additionally, any donations for the basket or medical expenses will be accepted.  Thank you for your support.
