Reminder: Public Forum on Prosperity and Opportunity Scheduled for Wednesday

The Democracy Commitment at MCC, through the generosity of the Kettering Foundation, is hosting a forum entitled Making Ends Meet: How Should We Spread Prosperity and Improve Opportunity?

Because this forum will use a deliberative practice for discussion, it will be driven by the contributions of those in attendance. To help anchor the discussion, the attached National Issues Guide will be used to explore various ideas on how to create more prosperous communities with greater opportunity.

The forum will take place on Wednesday, May 10th, from 6pm-8pm in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center Forum. If you are interested in attending, or would like to preview the National Issue Guide in advance, please contact Professor Dina Giovanelli at giovanelli@monroecc.edu or Joseph Scanlon at jscanlon1@monroecc.edu

This forum is free and open to both the campus community and to the public.  Refreshments will be provided.
