MCC Massage Therapy program alumni joined Health & Physical Education Department Chair Anne Flatley to provide chair massages for participants and players in the Women’s National Ice Hockey Championships on March 27 and 28 at ESL Sports Centre. The group provided massage therapy to people from as far away as Los Angeles and Alaska at the event. As a result, the group performed over 1,472 minutes of chair massage and raised $737 – half of which was donated to Skating for the Cure to help raise awareness about breast cancer.
The group also provided chair massages in support of the Girls National Championships which were held April 2 to 5 at ESL.
