I am sad to inform the college community of the passing of honorary trustee John “Jack” McCarthy on Sunday, April 12 at the age of 84. Mr. McCarthy served on the MCC Board of Trustees from 1987 to 1994. Calling hours were yesterday; his funeral service is today, Friday, April 17 at 11:00 am at All Seasons Chapel, White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford.
Mr. McCarthy is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joanna “Jody” McCarthy, a brother, five daughters and seven grandchildren.
