The Marie C. & Joseph C. Wilson Foundation has funded two $5000 scholarships for veterans through the Academy for Veteran's Success. These scholarships will provide financial support to veteran students who have economic need, academic potential and who would otherwise not be able to afford an education. Students will be selected based on their financial need, academic promise and a commitment to perform two hours per week of community service. Their continued scholarship eligibility will depend on completion of the required community service commitment and a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Applications are available in the Counseling and Advising Center and must be postmarked and/or returned by Friday, November 11, 2011 to the attention of: Patty Giverson, Academy for Veteran’s Success, Bldg. 1, Rm. 231; recipients will be notified by November 21, 2011.
