The Homeland Security Management Institute (HSMI) is hosting a three day Train the Trainer (TTT) program at the Public Safety Training Center. The attendees include staff from nine community colleges that agreed to adopt the Community College Citizen Preparedness Course a curriculum developed by HSMI and four other lead colleges and approved by the Department of Homeland Security. The program provides students and staff with information on how to protect themselves, their families and property against all hazards. There are now over 100 community colleges delivering this program at their respective colleges and communities.
