The MCC United Way campaign is two week old and has a few days to go. We are urging everyone who has yet to respond to consider giving.
You will see the United Way of Greater Rochester on many of the local television stations wrapping up their campaign today, May 12, but ours is not over. If you are considering giving, we still will accept donations throughout the week. In fact, the United Way has had past participants send in donations weeks and months after the campaign ends. We hope you don't wait that long, but we will accept it, regardless of the date.
As of Monday, May 10, we have heard from about half of the MCC community and reached 59 percent of our goal. Keep those pledge cards coming. We will make our goal with your help and only with your help. Let us show our community support and give to help take care of our own.
