Swimming is a great way for you and your children to stay healthy and have fun. If you always wanted to learn how to swim or are interested in improving your skills, the Monroe Community College Maverick Aquatic Club is hosting a registration night for its Learn-to-Swim Camp for Monday, Sept. 20 and Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 6 - 7 p.m. in the MCC pool area, Building 10.
The swim camp will run on Sundays, Sept. 26 - Oct. 31; a new Saturday program is also available, Oct. 9 - Nov. 13. It provides a great way to introduce and reinforce water safety rules with your children.
Maverick programs serve both youth and adults in our community. Private lessons classes are also available. Maverick Aquatic Club programs include:
· Youth Competitive Swim Club (ages 6-20)
· Masters Swim Program (ages 21 and older)
· Learn-to-Swim Camp (youth & adults)
· Private Lesson Program (youth & adults)
· Kayak Instruction
