Application Open! 2nd Annual Alternative Spring Break

Hello MCC Community!

The Center for Outreach and Volunteer Engagement (COVE) is delighted to offer its 2nd Annual Alternative Spring Break, hosted through the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development. The group takes off on Monday morning, 4/17/17, and returns the weekend of April 22nd and 23rd.

Students are encouraged to apply at: <https://www.tinyurl.com/MCCASB17>  for an opportunity to grab one of ten available seats for the trip to Pocahontas State Park, in Chesterfield Virginia. While in Virginia, the MCC group will complete more than 400 total hours of community service in areas such as ecological conservation, infrastructure development and facilities rehab.

The trip is completely free to MCC students and includes travel, lodging, and food for the week. Students will be expected to bring work clothes, shoes/boots, and basic bedding (pretend that we’re going camping)! Applications are open until 4/5/17, but interviews will begin immediately. Students will be notified of their status on a rolling basis.
