Monroe Community College and iSECURE, LLC are hosting an IT Security Symposium & Expert Panel specific to data security risks associated with Higher Education. The Wednesday, Nov. 6 conference will include:
· FBI Keynoter Speaker discussing Cyber Espionage
· IBM Technical Specialist presents: “Higher Ed Security in a Multi-Perimeter World”
· Panel of IT Security Professionals from local Colleges and Universities sharing their thoughts on today’s security issues and how they’ve approached them
· Breakfast & Lunch will be provided during the event
1:00PM: Post-Symposium Briefing on SUNY Initiatives
Ted Phelps, CISO for the State University of New York, will provide a historical review and current perspective on IT security practices within SUNY. This engaging discussion will include lessons learned and future cautions. A short Q&A will follow the briefing. All attendees are welcome.
