Thanks to all of you who voted for John Gmitter, the son of Rosemary Selvaggio in Building Services and the step-son of Diane Cheasty in Hospitality. He has been crowned the 2007 Test Engineer of the Year!!!!!! In addition to John receiving a plaque, he has designated MCC’s Engineering Technologies Program to be the recipient of the $30,000 educational grant courtesy of the contest sponsors, National Instruments, Agilent Technologies, and Keithley Instruments. John got his educational start in our ELT program in 1990. Although he graduated from MCC in Liberal Arts in 1992 and went on to SUNY Utica to earn his Bachelor’s degree, John has decided to designate the money to MCC. Thank you for taking the time to vote so that John could be the winner of this prestigious award and MCC could be the benefactor of $30,000.
