Julie White, Assistant Director of DCC Student Services, recently attended the Annual Conference of the Association for the Study of Higher Education. Julie was selected to represent the Warner Graduate School of Education at the University of Rochester, where she is an advanced doctoral student, at the Annual Graduate Student Policy Seminar. Julie also co-presented findings from a study led by Dr. Andrew Wall, of the Warner School, titled “Alcohol Use and Social Prestige: Re-conceptualizing Student Alcohol Use in Social Fields of the University.”
During the spring semester, Julie will be sharing findings from this research study, which also included community college students, with the MCC community. Dates and locations will be announced in the Tribune.
