Sustainability Fair at DCC Today, October 29!


Come to the Damon City Campus Sustainability Fair from 12-1 in the Fourth Floor Atrium and enter a raffle to win a basket of gifts worth over $50, including coffee from Coffee Connection, biscotti from Everybotti's Biscotti, chocolate from Hedonist Chocolates, Western New York State honey from Hen's Honey Bees, lanyard and backpack from MCC's STEP program, and fresh produce from the South Wedge Farmers' Market.

You'll be able to see a bicycle converted especially for running errands and getting around the city, get a recycling demonstration, purchase a mini-pumpkin for your fall decor or fresh pumpkin pie, buy some fair-trade coffee, chocolates, and other goodies, and view a screening of the Academy Award-winning film, "An Inconvenient Truth."

  The following organizations will be represented:  RG&E, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, STEP Program at MCC, Rochester Bicycling Club, www.RocBike.com, Applied Technology Center, Rochester Department of Environmental Conservation, Abundance Co-operative Market, Coffee Connection, and South Wedge Farmers Market.
