Roadmap Academies Project Kick-Off

Join us on October 4, 12:00 to kick off the Roadmap Academies Project!

MCC has been selected to participate in the American Association of Colleges & Universities (AAC&U) project Developing a Community College Student Roadmap.  For this project MCC is piloting Roadmap Academies - a cohort-based enrollment design that places high impact learning and meaningful relationships at the center of students’ experience and provides personalized pathways for students from entry into MCC through their academic pursuits, to goal completion with the objectives of increasing student learning, student retention and student goal completion. Within the Academy model students participate in mandatory orientation, required high-impact learning experiences and are monitored with an early alert system while faculty and professional staff work in collaborative teams to support student success.

Join us at noon on October 4 in Monroe B to hear more about the project and to get involved in building and implementing this innovative model. A college-wide Steering Committee has been formed; additional interested faculty and staff are invited to participate on sub-committees and in focus groups to help build a collaborative, college-wide model.
