Building Online Student Success (BOSS) Program - Late Start Sessions


BOSS is a program designed to assist students with learning about how to be successful in an online environment. Students who are new to online learning can elect to attend a 1 hour, face-to-face BOSS workshop. The workshop covers topics such as time management, balancing responsibilities and setting priorities, study skills, MCC resources, and the ANGEL log-in process.  There is also a fully online orientation for students at: https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/distlearn/BOSS/

We have added six (6) BOSS sessions this spring in order to reach late start online students.  Please encourage students who are enrolled in late start courses to take advantage of the BOSS sessions.  BOSS will be offered at the Brighton and Damon City Campuses on the following dates:


Brighton Campus
Tuesday, February 22nd in room 11-108 from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Wednesday, February 23rd in room 11-108 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Wednesday, March 23rd in room 11-108 from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Thursday, March 24th in room 11-108 from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm


Damon Campus
Friday, February 25th in room 5006 from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Friday, March 25th in room 5006 from 9:00 am – 10:00 am
