Historically Black Colleges Transfer Fair

On Wednesday, October 24, 2007, the Admissions Office sponsored a reception and mini-college fair featuring Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's). A goal of this program is to create and build partnerships with HBCU's and was coordinated by Admissions Counselors Clayton Jones and Joan Moorehead.

Over 150 parents and students attended the program which included a welcome by Vice President of Academic Services, Dr. Janet J. Glocker, an Admissions and Transfer Overview by Clayton Jones, and a Financial Aid & Scholarships presentation by Admissions Counselor Mary Rizzo.  Guest colleges included Morgan State University, North Carolina A & T, Tuskegee University, Virginia Union University, Grambling State University, Spelman College, Clark Atlanta, and Lincoln University.

The Admissions Office would like to thank the college community and especially the Career Center, EOP Office, CSTEP, and the Financial Aid Office for their support of this event.
