The 2010/2011 edition of MCC’s Catalog and Student Handbook is being distributed today, 8/27/10.
While a sufficient number of copies were printed to ensure that each MCC employee who needs a printed copy receives one, catalog production has been significantly reduced (from 35,000 to 8,000). This reduction is not simply a substantial cost-savings effort, but an opportunity to make a dramatic impact on MCC’s sustainability initiative.
Faculty wishing to have a copy of the new catalog may pick one up at the Brighton Mail Center, Applied Technologies Center, or the Damon City Campus.
Counseling & Advising, as well as Damon City Campus Student Services, will each receive a supply of catalogs for the year, so we need to be judicious regarding how they are distributed. There is no extra supply of catalogs from which to draw.
Since March, Admissions has been using a promotional bookmark highlighting the benefits of our up-to-date, on-line catalog by directing students to https://www.monroecc.edu/go/catalog.
Counseling & Advising and DCC Student Services will also receive a supply of bookmarks for their use. If other departments would like a supply of these bookmarks, please contact Marge McNeil at ext. 2231.
