The Admissions Office is pleased to announce an exciting new initiative with the Rochester City School District titled MCC In-Residence Program. Developed by Assistant Director Christine Casalinuovo-Adams and Counselor Joan Moorehead, this initiative will provide a regularly scheduled MCC presence in each RCSD High School Guidance Office. With MCC’s Readiness and Completion priority in mind, the goal of this program is to better facilitate the enrollment process for students in the RCSD, with particular attention to underrepresented students. Included in the initiative will be admissions presentations, as well as individual student appointments to complete their admission, EOP, and assistance with FAFSA.
Joan Moorehead will be the MCC coordinator for each RCSD school, scheduling her visits on Tuesday and Thursdays throughout the enrollment cycle. This new program will complement the other current initiatives that the Admissions Office participates in throughout our community, including our regular MCC Instant Decision Days.
