WHEC Highlights MCC's New Return to Complete Program

Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management Christine Casalinuovo-Adams and returning adult student James Simpson were interviewed by WHEC's Brennan Somers yesterday for the station's News10NBC @ Noon program. The interview focused on how MCC's Return to Complete program helps students like Mr. Simpson, who have been away from MCC for at least three years, defer debt owed to the college and return to complete their certificates and degrees.

During the interview, Mr. Simpson shared how he is eager to resume his studies after 10 years away from the college and earn an associate degree in criminal justice: police science. He encouraged viewers and former students not to give up on their education. "MCC is offering you the opportunity. There, the door is open."

Following the live interview, AVP Casalinuovo-Adams and Mr. Simpson were also interviewed for WHEC's Rochester in Focus program. The program will air at 7 a.m. Sunday, December 16 and be available online following the broadcast.

Do you know a former student who may benefit from Return to Complete? If so, please direct the student to www.monroecc.edu for more information (a link is available on the homepage) and/or encourage him or her to contact MCC Admissions.

Admissions will host a webinar on Return to Complete from 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 19 and an info session from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, January 12. Registration for the webinar and info session is available online.
