Attached is the proxy bid sheet so that you are able to see what will be at this week’s Travel Club Silent Auction. We have over 35 items to auction, including gift certificates for restaurants, more than 15 hotel overnights, and much, much, more.

If you are unavailable to be at the bid-off, feel free to send an e-mail to Diane Cheasty (<mailto:dcheasty@monroecc.edu>) or drop off the proxy bid sheet in the mailroom, or her office in 3-161. Don't forget to list your name and phone number on the top of the form. Diane will list your starting bid on the bid sheet and then assign a person to bid for you on Friday, the day of the bid-off. All proxy bids need to be received by 11am on Friday, December 9th. See something on the list that you REALLY WANT??? Submit a bid of 90% of the value of the item or more and it is yours AUTOMATICALLY!!!
The event takes place this week. Wednesday and Thursday, December 7th and 8th, the items and bid sheets will be on display in the North Dining Area and in the Flynn Campus Center Atrium, respectively, from 11am to 2pm for people to bid in person. Please take time to stop by to take a look at the wonderful items and place a bid. We have some awesome things that you will surely be interested in. On Friday, December 9th from 12 noon to 2pm, we will have the bid-off of all the items in the Atrium.

Do you have trouble identifying your luggage on the turnstile at the airport? Let us help you with that!!!! In addition to the auction items, we will be selling colored luggage handle tags at the table on each day of the auction. These handles are a great cushion on your handle, as well as the color is easy to identify. We have 4 colors to choose from– royal blue, maroon, yellow, and neon green. Buy one for $4 or 3 for $10. They make great stocking stuffer gifts!!!
