I wanted to take this opportunity to update you on the results of the recent Dean searches. I would like to thank the search committees for all of the time and hard work that they put into the search process. Searches are time consuming and difficult; however, they are an important part of the hiring process and help us to ensure that we make hiring decisions that are in the best interests of our students.
Unfortunately, despite the efforts of both committees, we were unsuccessful in filling the positions of Dean, Academic Foundations and Dean, Curriculum and Program Development. Renee Dimino has agreed to continue in her role as Interim Dean, Academic Foundations for the coming semester. We are in the process of reviewing these positions and deciding what our next steps will be. As soon as we have anything to report, we will share it with the College community.
