Progress Made During Holiday Break and Intersession

In anticipation of faculty and students returning to campus for the start of the Spring 2020 Semester next Tuesday, January 21, I am pleased to share with you a brief summary of projects that were successfully completed during the past several weeks. Please join me in thanking those who worked hard to:

  • Upgrade MCC's technology and utility infrastructure to improve functionality and reliability for students and employees.
  • Renovate the lounge adjacent to the LeRoy V. Good Library (Building 2) as well as the Stabins Physical Education Complex lobby (Building 10) to make those spaces more inviting and useful for our students.
  • Help establish MCC's 2020/2021 budget development process. The Budget Development Team was recently expanded to include Paul Emerick (Faculty Senate), Bethany Gizzi (Faculty Association), and Tom Pollizi (CSEA), each of whom have already positively contributed to this important effort.

As Officer in Charge leading up to the arrival of the MCC Interim President on February 3, I look forward to working with you and supporting the success of our students.

Best wishes for the New Year and a successful Spring Semester.
