The 2017 United Way Campaign Update!

The 2017 Monroe Community College United Way campaign began Monday, March 6th and we have raised $46,207.57 towards our $100, 000 goal.  Please consider making your pledge before the campaign closes on April 14th.  Online pledge instructions and printable pledge forms are available on the myMCC Chanel, Employee Tab, United Way Channel, or contact any of the Campaign Committee members listed below.

Thank you to the faculty, staff and students who participated in our first United Way Walk-A-Thon on March 24th.  We have two remaining dates if you would like to participate and earn a chance at winning some fabulous prizes!

Our next walk is Wednesday April 5th, noon-1pm, DCC 4th Floor Atrium, room 4216 (known as the Faculty Mailroom & Multipurpose Area).  All participants should check-in, make a donation, enter into the prize drawings (every $1.00 will receive 1 prize drawing entry) and take a walk to benefit the cause.  Thank you to our generous prize donors: the MCC Bookstore, Sodexo, Pepsi, Java’s, Food for Thought, and the United Way Committee.  Prizes include United Way T-shirts, Gift Certificates, Vera Bradley Items, MCC logo merchandise and more!  And as if those prizes aren’t enough to get you moving, every dollar up to $1000 donated during the walk-a-thons will be matched by the Kress-Davis Family!  Our final walk will be on April 7th, at noon and 3:45pm at Brighton Campus- watch for more details.

In additional to the walk-a-thons, please continue to contribute to:

*         Bottle and Can Drive : March 6th-April 14th

*         Department Change Challenge: March 6th – April 7th

Every donation is appreciated.  Together, let’s change the world!
