Open House at FWD Center from 12-1 p.m. on 5/26, 5/27 & 5/28

The MCC Community is invited to come view the newly opened Finger Lakes Workforce Development Center (FWD Center) on Wednesday, May 26; Thursday, May 27; or Friday, May 28 from 12-1 p.m. The space will be open for self-guided tours.

The FWD Center is a new state-of-the-art, 50,000 square-foot facility located on the 5th and 6th floors of MCC's Downtown Campus. The training center is designed to focus on rapid training, retraining and upskilling of technical middle-skilled workers that continue to be needed as technicians by local employers. With a focus on short-term and accelerated training programs in technology-oriented careers and Industry 4.0 skill-sets, programming at the FWD Center links education with the evolving demands of the regional workforce.
