The Week Ahead

The Office of Student Life & Leadership Development presents the following events for this week (please share with students):

Monday, April 10 through Friday, April 14:

  • The Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project’s Holocaust Survivor Photographic Exhibit “I Told You, Now You Tell the World” is on display in the Campus Center Atrium.
  • Campus Activities Board and Muslim Student Association, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, 6:45pm to 8:00pm - Ramadan Iftar Dinner.  Join the students to learn more about Ramadan, the traditions and the celebration. 
  • Spread the Word Inclusion - Wednesday, April 12, 2023, Noon to 1:00pm, Downtown Campus, 2nd Floor Lounge. Spread the Word is a global campaign working towards inclusion for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 
  • Snack and Chat - Wednesday, April 12, 2023, Noon to 1:00pm, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center Atrium
    Come and learn about Student Government and it’s role on campus. Enjoy some refreshments and ask student government leader questions.

Other News:

  • The NYS Tax Department employees will be on the Brighton Campus to assist you in-person to prepare and e-file your taxes.  April 10th, 9:30am to 4:30pm – Brighton Campus, Room 11-101
  • MCC’s Biology Club is collecting returnable bottles from April 10 through 14, 2023. Returnable bottles can be dropped off in room 3-138K. Proceeds go toward the club activities.
  • MCC's Club for Surgical Technology is holding a fundraiser at Red Robin at the Jefferson Rd. location on Thursday, April 13th from 4pm to 7pm.  20% of proceeds go back to the Surgical Technology Club.
