DCC Student Services Staff Present at the National Conference on Student Development


Members of the Damon City Campus Student Services staff presented two sessions at the National Conference on Student Development (NCSD) annual conference,  Finding New Routes to Student Success, on November 2- 4.   

Julie White and Corinne Mulhall presented a session on the Women on the Move program.  Women on the Move is a program designed to assist low income working women and it was a finalist for the NCSD Shared Journey award. Marcus Watts, Beatriz LeBron, Julie White and Ann Topping presented Igniting Student Success through Collaboration.  The presentation highlighted the African American and Latino Male Retention program, the Work Experience program and the Women on the Move program.  The presentation focused on how programs for underrepresented students can assist with institutional retention efforts.
