Mary Louise Musler and Alice Harrington Achieve Competent Toastmasters (CTM) Award

Mary Louise Musler (Rochester Parent Network/292-BABY) and Alice Harrington (MCC Libraries) completed their 10th prepared speech on May 23rd to earn their Competent Toastmaster (CTM) awards.  During their presentation, Toastmasters are required to inspire their audience using all the techniques they have learned to date.  Musler encouraged members to examine the causes of childhood bullying in order to prevent it while Harrington shared several "life lessons" her father has taught her through his fight against Parkinson's Disease.

Would you like to increase your confidence as a communicator and leader?  MCC Toastmasters can provide you with an opportunity to build these essential professional and personal skills in a fun and supportive environment.  Please contact Diane Navarro DeHond (Instructional Technologies) at <mailto:dehond@monroecc.edu> or x3428), our VP Membership, with any questions.
