The New PRISM Multicultural Center presents "BLIND SPOTS"

Come and join us as we all participate in a great presentation and dialogue with Jonathan Iuzzini on our next Dialogues on Diversity Series called “Blind Spots”.   What does it mean to live in a world of differences?  How do race, class, gender, sexuality, religion and ability impact our daily lives?  When all of these realities hit you from different directions every day, how do you deal with them?  How do I act, what is political correct to say, what is just my perception of facts, what is fiction and what is the truth?  There are so many things we all have to deal with in a world that is constantly changing.

Jonathan Iuzzini has a background in social psychology and has conducted research on issues of race, class and gender.  He is the Coordinator of MCC’s Teaching & Creativity Center and is an Assistant Professor of Psychology. This hour long presentation and dialogue will be thought provoking and will lend itself to much conversation and learning.

We are encouraging faculty, staff and students to join us on March 24th, 2016 at noon in Monroe B.  If you are planning on bringing your class, please e-mail Shirley Batistta-Provost at <"mailto:Sprovost@monroecc.edu"> in advance.
