292-BABY launches “Video-On-Demand” option.

Do you have a baby or young child in your life? Do you know someone who does? Don't miss this.

100+ educational videos related to early childhood are now available at <<https://www.292baby.org>>.  It is believed to be the largest single source of video content in the world that focuses on the stages from pre-conception to age three! This MCC-led community project has made these educational videos available free of charge to anyone caring for our youngest children.

To access the videos 24/7 go to <<https://www.292baby.org>> and select the Video-On-Demand tab at the top. Videos are organized by developmental stages as well as by series. Breastfeeding, attachment, immunizations, adoption and childhood obesity are some of the topics in the series.

Please feel free to use the content in your courses or share with anyone - the URL addresses can be copied, pasted into an email and sent to anyone in the world and they will immediately play on their computer.

Newborn Issues - Pediatrician, Dr. Sema Hart, explores a variety of topics including breathing, care for circumcision, vision, diapers, swaddling, fingernails, pacifiers and a host of other concerns common to new parents. It includes a number of videos showing infants. Time 40 minutes.

The attachment has individual descriptions of each of the videos.

292-BABY is a grant program administered by MCC and we partnered with the Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong and Greater Rochester’s early childhood community to create this series. It has been years in the making. Nearly 100 local experts gave their time and expertise freely to help create the videos with the philosophy that this information should be easily available to everyone for free. Bringing these videos directly to one of our community’s neediest constituencies is yet another manifestation of MCC’s mission of accessibility to quality education and information
