On March 24, 2017, Judi Salsburg Taylor, Meghan Glaser, and April Daniels presented “A Community of Engagement” at the College Reading and Learning Association’s Northeast Chapter Conference “Academic Engagement and Self-Efficacy.” The three presented about how integrated reading and writing faculty created uplifting communities of engagement for students through purposeful course redesign and for faculty by embracing a cooperative paradigm and an enriching mentorship model.
