William “Bill” Drumright, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of History, delivered a lecture titled: “We Will Meet Again Under the Ground: Giving Human Dimension to Stalin’s Victims of Starvation and Terror” at St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church in Irondequoit. Ukrainian people around the world commemorated the 80th anniversary of Holodomor, the Soviet manmade famine orchestrated by Stalin in 1932-33. Elena Dilai chaired the committee organizing the local event as president of Branch 120 of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America.
