Mathlix N Chill is Back!!

Once again, this Saturday, October 8th from 1 pm to 4 pm in 9 -134, Dr. Santiago, from the Math Dept, will be joined by Prof Witt for this semester's first "Mathlix N Chill" event! These sessions were so much fun last semester that we had to bring it back. Last semester, we saw students bring in their laptops, their paper assignments, and their positive energy to the sessions. Students left the session with greater clarity on their math work, with having formed study groups, or with having formed a new outlook on success in math!

As a reminder, this event is a fantastic opportunity for students from different math sections of the same class to work together on any math topics they may be struggling with. Students will be able to meet other classmates who want to have a chill space to focus on math and get the help they need from each other but with instructors present. Think of study sessions but with professors right there just in case something is confusing.

This event is intended to help students realize their full potential when working together. We all have strengths and weaknesses so why not work together to strengthen what we know and what we are unsure of!

Bring your homework, study guide, old tests, laptops, etc so you can work through these questions in your course groups. If you are in MTH 094, 096, 098, 099, 104, 150, 160, or 165, then come on by! We would be happy to work with you. If your course isn't indicated, no worries, just bring some peers and enjoy a chill space to work together!

If you have any interest in a future remote session, please email Dr. Santiago (rsantiago@monroecc.edu) to let her know!

Together we can pass these math classes!
