MCC Chosen as a Finalist in the 2016 Wealth of Health Awards


The MCC Wellness Council would like to announce that Monroe Community College has been chosen as a finalist in the 2016 Wealth of Health Awards sponsored by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and the Rochester Business Journal. The awards recognize a commitment to encourage and foster healthy behaviors in the workplace.

Finalists will be recognized and winners will be announced at a special luncheon on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center, from noon until 1:30 p.m.  In addition to the recognition at the luncheon, the MCC Wellness Council and Tobacco Free Steering Committee will be interviewed for a special feature in the June 3 edition of the Rochester Business Journal. 

In celebration of this honor, Midtown Athletic Club is providing a complimentary one week membership to MCC employees during the month of May.  Amenities include: 100 group exercise, yoga, and Pilates classes per week, 3 swimming pools, 18 tennis courts, Spa, hot tub, steam, locker rooms and social events.  To activate your trial membership contact Robert Jakobi at <mailto:Robert.jakobi@midtown.com>  by May 31, 2016.
