Susan George, registered nurse, and Dolores Pasto-Ziobro, institutional compliance officer & internal auditor, served as invited presenters for a session on "Creating a Tobacco-Free Campus: Lessons Learned" at the New York State College Health Association (NYSCHS) 2014 Annual Meeting in Syracuse, NY.
In their presentation Susan focused on strategies for educating students and providing support for smoking cessation and Dolores shared the six steps necessary for implementing a successful campus Tobacco-Free policy.
NYSCHA is a professional organization working to support quality health care delivered on college campuses throughout New York State.
