National Wear Red Day (Rescheduled) 2/10/22

This year the Wellness Council and American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) are collaborating for National Wear Red Day and Go Red for Women initiatives! As this event was originally to take place Friday, 2/4 on National Wear Red Day we needed to reschedule due to the closing of the college.

Get involved!

Who: Everyone (Students, Staff and MCC community members)
What: Wear Red on Feb. 10th to raise awareness about heart disease and strokes and help save lives
Where: Join us in the Campus Center Atrium for a group photo showing your support
When: Thursday, Feb 10th with a picture at 12:30pm

What Else: Please join the MCC American Heart Association Walk/Run team for this year’s Heart Walk on June 9th. Join or donate to the team here. We will also take in any donations you would like to make to the cause.

The American Heart Association Committee through the Wellness Council is working hard to bring new activities and FUNdraising events to you this semester. Please stay tuned as more information is forthcoming.
