Tibetan Monks at MCC Monday, Feb. 27th


It's something to see. A Mandala sand painting: a Tibetan cosmogram of colors. Log in or stop by the Brighton Campus Forum (Room 130, Bldg. 3 of the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center) early next week to witness the creation of a mandela sand painting. Eleven Tibetan monks, members of Drepung Loseling Monastery, will create "Akshobhya, the Unshakable Victor for Conflict Resolution and Peace," in the MCC Forum, Room 130, Bldg. 3, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center.

SCHEDULE:
Monday, Feb. 27
(opening ceremony -- Monday at noon)
noon - 8 p.m.
 
Tuesday, Feb. 28
10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 1
(closing ceremony -- Wednesday at 4 p.m.-- the sand will be swept into an urn and deposited in the Genesee River to disperse the healing energies of the mandala throughout the world.)
