Gold Star Gala a blockbuster!

The Foundation hosted the 19th annual Gold Star Gala, Then Came Tomorrow by M&T Bank, at the Country Club of Rochester on Saturday, April 29. The event was a great success thanks to the combined efforts of many generous supporters and our own MCC family.

Guests were transported back in time to the Hollywood heyday's of 1949 to attend a fantastically fictional movie premiere of Then Came Tomorrow!  The transformation of the club was thanks to a top-notch crew from MCC’s Facilities Department, led by Doug Ford. Guests enjoyed performances by talented MCC student musicians arranged by Associate Professor John Nyerges. Professor Kathy Farrell’s imaginative students pitched in once again! The event’s Scholarship Call was inspired by a heartening video created by Bailey Burritt and Jeremy Case. The talents of MCC were on full display at the Gala and guests were duly impressed!

The Gold Star Gala raises important unrestricted funds for the operation of the Foundation as well as vital scholarship support for deserving students. Our thanks go to all who helped to make the Gala a success!
