MCC Board of Trustees Re-elects Officers


The Monroe Community College Board of Trustees on August 12 re-elected
community leaders John Parrinello to serve as chair, Lori VanDusen to serve as
vice chair, and Nancy Price to serve as secretary to the board.

Parrinello, of Rochester, has been a partner in Redmond & Parrinello, LLP,
attorneys-at-law since 1968. Listed in "The Best Lawyers in America,"
Parrinello is a retired U.S. Marine Corps captain who also served on the
Rochester City Council in the 1970s. He received his law degree from Syracuse
University and his bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester.
Parrinello has served on the MCC Board of Trustees since 1998.

VanDusen, of Pittsford, is a senior vice president and Consulting Group
director at Salomon Smith Barney, Inc. Past president of the Association of
Professional Investment Consultants, she is a graduate of the Wharton School's
distinguished Investment Management Analyst program. VanDusen received her
master's degree from Harvard University and graduated with a bachelor's degree,
magna cum laude, from Ithaca College. She has served on the MCC Board of
Trustees since 1999.

Price, of Greece, is executive secretary to MCC President R. Thomas Flynn. She
currently serves as administrative assistant to Rochester Area Colleges, Inc.,
a consortium of 19 public and private college presidents in the Rochester area.
Price has served the Board of Trustees since 1991.
