The Writing Center’s monthly challenge, “Proof the Goof” is here for November. Take a chance, win a prize, and have fun sharpening your writing skills by entering this month’s challenge.

To submit a solution:
1. Neatly write up your response, clearly identify the answer, and highlight all errors where applicable.
2. Along with the response, include your name and phone number (so we can contact you if you win the prize).*
3. You may submit solutions by emailing us at <mailto:proofthegoof@monroecc.edu>. (Please indicate “goof solution” as the subject of your email.)
4. If you prefer to submit a hard copy, solutions may be submitted to the “Proof the Goof” drop box in the Writing Center (11-208). On the Damon City Campus, solutions may be submitted to the “Proof the Goof” drop box in the Writing Center (Room 4261 within the Integrated Learning Center). Faculty and staff may use inter-departmental mail as well.
Solutions for the November challenge must be submitted by Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
“Proof the Goof” is open to all MCC students, faculty, and staff.
*Only MCC students are eligible for the monthly prize.
