Room Scheduling for Spring 2015


I am so happy to be working here and excited at what the future holds for me!  That being said, let’s get down to the room schedule for Spring.  Before we all leave for the December holiday break, please look at the Spring schedule and your room assignment.

Ask yourself:

Are you teaching a course in Spring 2015?
Is your course in a room which meets your needs?

I have only been with the college for short time, but I have been scheduling rooms for instructors for over six years.  So I am hip to the difference of “needs” and “wants.”  What I am looking for is the room feature you are requiring.  What do you need in a classroom in order to be successful?  What do your students need?

I feel I now need to quote one of my predecessor’s trib articles, “My needs are simple, but important. I need to know what course you are teaching.”

All I need to make a room change is:  

*         Course
*         CRN (located right next to the course on the Master Schedule Listing)
*         What kind of room you need – again, I should stress – what kind of room features are you looking for? (document camera, white board, smart board, etc…)
*         Do you know what you are teaching for summer yet? If so, let me know your room needs now!
