MCC’s
Massage Therapy Clinic, located at the Damon City Campus (room 4042), will open on Monday, January 30 for the Spring 2012 semester. As this is the program’s final semester, we thank you for your past patronage and hope you will support our outstanding student message therapists again this semester.
MCC faculty and staff are invited to pre-schedule up to two appointments -- in advance of the general public -- by sending an email to <
mailto:mtclinic@monroecc.edu> today through Wednesday, January 25. Please include your preferred appointment dates and times, based on the schedule below, within your email. After employees schedule their initial two appointments, they are asked to only have one appointment scheduled at a time.
Prior to the clinic’s opening, employees and the general public may also call the clinic at 262-1470 on Wednesday, January 25, or Friday, January 27, from noon to 5 p.m. to schedule appointments.
Patrons will receive a 55-minute massage therapy session from a soon-to-graduate student in the MCC Massage Therapy degree program. Student massage therapists receive a minimum of 18 months of education before working at the clinic. The cost is $25 per session ($15 for students with college identification). Patrons must be at least 18 years of age to receive services at the clinic.
All sessions are professionally supervised. Appointments may be scheduled for the following days and times from January 30 through May 18, 2012 (except during winter and spring break weeks; the weeks of Feb. 19-26 and April 8-15 respectively):
Monday and Wednesday evenings: 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.;
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10:00 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.;
Fridays: 11:00 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:30 p.m.
