An article entitled "Keeping the Books: Keeping Track of Costs and Revenues in Distance Education" which appeared in the June 15th edition of Distance Education Report featured an interview with Jeff Bartkovich, vice president, ETS, and Peggy VanKirk, coordinator of special projects and online services.
The article outlined the basic principles for creating online program budgets.It also states that MCC has "created a simple but flexible accounting system for online programs that has gone from its original community college application to setting a standard for the State University of New York (SUNY) system."
