Stop by and check out The Center for Academic Reading (CAR) located in 9-231. The CAR is now open to support reading across the college. Developed by Transitional Studies faculty and funded through the Title III grant “Building a Culture of Engagement and Success,” the CAR provides:
· free individual and small group tutoring
· access to computers and printers for course assignments
· resources that support Transitional Studies’ redesigned integrated reading and writing courses
· a productive environment in which students can work on reading related assignments from all disciplines
The CAR is open Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM & Friday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM.
