The Honors Program: A Vision for the Future - Save the Date

For the past few months, a group of faculty, staff, and students have been meeting to discuss the next phase in the development of MCC’s Honors program.  This group – the Honors Planning Committee – invites the entire college community to two open forums.  At each forum, the Committee will present one potential vision for the MCC Honors program.  The attached documents provide narrative commentary and detail about this vision.  One document details the current program (The Honors Institute), one the ultimate goal (The Honors College), and one the planned transition between them (The Exceptional Learners Institute).

These forums will take place on Monday, March 22nd at noon.  On the Brighton campus the forum will take place in the Empire Room and on the Damon City Campus the forum will be held in the DCC Community Room (4193).

If you would like to hear about the Committee’s vision and if you would like to shape MCC’s effort to build an innovative and exceptional honors program, please attend and share your thoughts.
