Terry Shamblin, Associate Professor in the Transitional Studies Department, co-presented (with Robin Ozz, Director, Developmental Ed, Phoenix College) at NISOD in Austin, TX. The presentation, “ Improving Teacher Effectiveness Through a Digital Community of Practice”, centered around their research on effective pedagogy and the impact of their participation in online reflection, assessment, and collaboration with other developmental educators across the country.
